The SCIP Signature High School Academy program works alongside corporate partners, focusing on Business and STEM, to provide students insight into future career paths. Through this exposure, SCIP’s Young Global Leaders are able to better identify potential majors that will lead to their ideal career choice.

As a result, students  see college as a critical step in achieving their long term career aspirations.  For 92% of our Young Global Leaders, being a part of SCIP has enabled them to pursue a higher level of education at their first-choice college.

“As a part of The Summer Executive Leadership Program and SCIP's Journalism Team, I learned how to better communicate with my peers to ensure we create great quality work!”

Minyuan Cheng, 2023

“At SCIP, I have gained an amazing amount of experience in being a leader as well as the corporate world. Working with the design team allowed me to explore my interests and improve my designs. I was able to learn from everyone around me and give them feedback for designs as well. If I were to have the chance to participate in SCIP again, I wouldn’t hesitate for a moment.”

Anika Khan, 2023

"My internship at SCIP has been a journey in which I've truly learned what it's like to work in a corporate setting while also helping others through the process. Being on both sides of the experience has helped me grow and communicate more efficiently. I hope to accomplish just as much this time when I'm leading as we did when I was first an intern."

Tarun Vaidhyanathan, 2022-23

"...I learned that teamwork literally makes the dream work! When working on things, like our newsletters, communication and teamwork is necessary to ensure the production of the newsletter in as efficient of a manner as possible, especially while being remote. Even though we all had recently met, we learned the hang of it fairly quickly with some struggles here and there, but overall I would say we were a successful team!"

Syeda Rahman, 2023

"Being at SCIP started a new chapter in my life, where I gained the confidence to talk publicly and work effectively with my team members, whether on projects or simply discussing ideas. I have worked as a website team and design team intern at SCIP since last summer. I’ve worked during the winter fellow program and now I’m in the spring fellow program working as a journalism team intern. I am satisfied that I am always improving, learning, and growing at SCIP."

James Khin, 2022-23

"This internship has given me the chance to express my creative side while also giving me the chance to write about current events in the world in such insightful pieces of writing. I feel confident in a business environment thanks to this internship. I'm eager to improve my writing abilities, so that I am able to communicate with my coworkers more effectively and establish stronger bonds."

Alana Douglas, 2022-23
