The Selective Corporate Internship Program (SCIP) launched its youth 'Golf Leadership Academy" and Tennis Club in the Summer of 2017, discerning the strong connection between business and sports.
SCIP prepares Young Global Leaders for various aspects of Corporate America including training in golf and tennis. In addition to creating networking opportunities these sports sharpen concentration, build perseverance and instill professionalism - traits highly valued in the work place.
The SCIP Golf Leadership Academy affords opportunities to a greater number of students and allow them to develop through its year round programs.

Golf Leadership Academy

SCIP benefits greatly by incorporating golf in its year round curriculum as the young leaders "learn real-life lessons" shared by Rick Nielson, a PGA Trainer who has coached the global young leaders with his staff for many years.
Golf is universal and teaches young global leaders integrity, discipline and respect. Golf helps young leaders prepare for careers in business and stem, promotes lifelong friendships.
