Empowering Entrepreneurs

We are excited to announce the launch of SCIP's inaugural Entrepreneurial Leadership Institute Pilot Mentorship Program on August 3, 2023! This exceptional program is partnering with its STEM and Business Summer Executive Leadership Program to help students acquire a stronger entrepreneurial mindset and learn the fundamentals of running a business through hands-on mentorship. The program's first session will run in collaboration with our key college/university partners, and will include key fundamentals of starting a business and much more.

To enhance driven, multicultural, young adults' education of and interest in Entrepreneurship through their development of teamwork, social emotional, analytical skills, and laboratory skills as well as to create opportunities for new entrepreneurs or those seeking resources to grow their business and learn how to navigate through their entrepreneurial journey to achieve success in creating wealth.

6-8 Week Summer Program

The Entrepreneurship Leadership Institute will offer a variety of innovative entrepreneurial leadership programs to afford multicultural, highly focused young global leaders the opportunity to achieve their goals. Programs will be offered virtually and in person across our undergraduate, graduate, MBAs & Executive Leadership Management Programs. Participants will sharpen their entrepreneurial thinking by learning how to innovate, inspire and lead teams during these informative sessions.

Across industries and career paths, great business leaders share a common attribute: an "entrepreneurial mindset." SCIP's Entrepreneurial Leadership Institute will also provide participants with critical tools for evaluating opportunities, balancing different responsibilities and making effective decisions. Anyone who takes part in this program will emerge as a highly skilled collaborator, problem solver and organizational leader.

They will also develop practical hands-on skills by launching ventures through SCIP's BOOT CAMP Start-Up Program (3 months), a more immersive 6-8 month program, and consulting through SCIP's Biz 2 Biz Entrepreneurial Partnership Initiative.

Building your website and digital presence through social media.

Developing essential management skills.

Creating and building a business plan as well as financial statements and projections.

Exploring different marketing strategies. Understanding important legal issues that may arise.

Areas of Focus

3 Month Program

Objective 1

New York and New Jersey Council will help give education summits and workshops regarding industry certifications.

Objective 2

Corporate procurement individuals and officers, as well as human resource representatives will lead educational summits and workshops about best practices within the industry and how to win contracts.

Objective 3

Successful entrepreneurs will lead mentorship and coaching sessions throughout the program in order to transfer knowledge and share invaluable information and experiences regarding entrepreneurship. SCIP will include corporate ERG’s to facilitate workshops and seminars.

Objective 4

Venture Capital Groups will provide Funding to scale and scope and to aid entrepreneurs via angel funding. They will also help with identifying the right funding opportunities.

To educate and train multicultural African Americans/Blacks and Latinx young global leaders in fundamental Entrepreneurial knowledge and skills.

To recruit under-served African Americans/Blacks and Latinx young global leaders and develop and increase their awareness.

To establish viability, Build upon and create business plan, project 2-3 year income prediction, brand company with social media and through a website, as well as organize your company in terms of the board positions.
